You can combine teachable moments with supporting your community, as Muscogee County, Ga. School District did with the Be There campaign in collaboration with local agencies. For example, in order to get parents involved in donating to Goodwill, a local television station did a feature on how they can use the donation as a “Be There Moment.” (Click here to watch the video)
