Alphabet games help keep the kids entertained and educated during road trips. You know the game?where each child tries to find letters to the alphabet on road signs and billboards. It gets very competitive, especially toward the end of the alphabet, when they're eagerly searching for those hard-to-find letters so they can be the first one to reach "Z."

At one hectic moment, my daughter yelled out, "V as in RRRVVV." "What's that," we asked. She said it's on the billboard with those big vans. Turns out, she found the "V" in "RV," for Recreational Vehicle. But we forevermore refer to them as "RRRVVVs."
