The Be There campaign provides a variety of components that make it a complete, ready-to-go multimedia package. These components are provided to a district at no cost, except you are responsible for printing and duplication of localized materials. Below are a few of the components; the full list is on this website under Campaign Materials. New components are added at the request of districts.


For the Parent

• Invitation brochure that introduces parents to the campaign. It can be distributed to every student to take home, mailed to parents or passed out during open houses and Back-to-School nights (Sample)

• Direct mail flyers can be added to or substituted for the invitation and sent periodically as visual reminders to Be There for a child (Sample)

• Ads placed in a parent guide, code of student conduct brochure, district calendar, athletic program or other publication reinforce the message (Sample)

• Posters with powerful images of parents connecting with their children during ordinary activities, making them extraordinary moments (Sample)

• Real-life stories and touching poem shared by other parents as inspirational examples…from one heart to another (Stories)

• Interactive DVD, funded by sponsors, with heartfelt stories of parents connecting with their children (Sample)

• Billboards (Sample)

• Bookmarks, postcards (Samples)

• Talking points for speeches and slide show for presentations (Sample)

• Template articles, which you can customize for newsletters (Sample)

• Electronic version of the logo for incorporation on to your materials

• Public Service Announcements for commercial or educational television or radio stations, parent meetings or morning announcements (Samples)
